    An audiologist is someone who is usually trained in the diagnosis and treatment of auditory ailments and hearing problems. People who have experienced hearing loss, loss of balance, or other disorders of the auditory system will often choose to contact an audiologist because of the expertise and experience that they often have in dealing with the auditory and vestibular portions of the body. Audiologists must usually go through a rigorous education and certification process in order to receive their license to practice.
